Connection cable for diversity operation
Receiver diversity operation is possible with the MULTIPLEX M-LINK receivers! To do this, any two M-LINK receivers in the same frequency band are connected to one another via a data cable. Ideally, the two receiving antennas are as far apart as possible and pointing in different directions (90° to each other). This minimizes the directivity of the antenna, i.e. the receiver has a good "view" of the transmitter in every model position.
in diversity mode, both receivers receive and decode the incoming radio signals.
both receivers communicate.
This checks which of the two receivers has the better signal.
both receivers only output the better signal.
In this way, additional safety reserves can be activated in diversity operation. Receiver diversity operation is particularly recommended for large models.
