Description
The Heavy Duty Karbonite® geartrain is the centerpiece of the HiTEC HS-322HD servo motor: high wear resistance and smooth power transmission ensure long-lasting, precisely guided motion. Operating as an analog servo via the proven PWM interface, the actuator integrates quickly into existing controllers. A potentiometer provides accurate position feedback and supports crisp centering. The brushed, iron-core motor converts commands directly and, at 6.0 V, achieves 0.15 s per 60° with 36 N·cm of torque. This servo combines robust mechanics with clear feedback and quick response, making it especially suitable wherever repeatable accuracy and straightforward control are required.
Note: Be aware that high vibration gas (not glow) engines combined with large control surfaces and large throws (3D models) can put undue strain on the gears. Metal geared servos are recommended for these applications, even if under 12lbs.
Warning: Do not use thread lockers on Karbonite geared servo as it will cause the output shaft to fail.
