 As with "real" muscles, there are also servo specialists for power, speed or accuracy. HiTEC offers a wide range of servo types in different sizes, as analogue or digital servo, from the inexpensive standard servo to the "power monster machine". But they all have one thing in common. They all offer the highest quality from a world-renowned brand manufacturer.

Analogue servos

HiTEC analogue servos are the inexpensive choice when it comes to equipping models economically and you do not want to sacrifice quality. These servos do not offer the modeller any programming options and inexpensive DC brushed motors are used as drive motors for analogue servos. The housings and often the gearboxes are made of high-quality plastic, but metal housings are not used for cost reasons. Due to a low motor drive frequency, analogue servos develop only weak "running noises". Another advantage is the low power consumption, which protects the RC/drive batteries.

Digital servos

Digital servos are in the upper low to high price range. . Depending on the model, very high-quality components are used, such as Hall sensors for position detection or brushless DC motors as drives. The motor control frequency is independent of the servo control frequency and is usually 300-SOOHz. This results in very small possible dead zones of up to 2ms. Digital servos also offer versatile programming and protection functions and, depending on the type, also allow two-way communication (feedback). Digital servos also offer a whole range of advantages. For example, enormously high holding forces, super-fast response, extremely high accuracy or the possibility of high-voltage operation (HV).

Linear servos

Linear servos are a speciality among digital servos. They are excellently suited for functional model making. HiTEC linear actuators originate from our industrial division and fulfil various tasks in automation and robotics. In functional model making, the possible applications are manifold. For example: stamps of trucks and crane models, tilting movements of troughs or ladders, extending ladders, actuating gear shifts, steering movements, sliding movements of signs etc.
